August Update

Hello friends!

We had a blast last month with all the birdhouse inspiration!  Thanks for all the kind comments and a special thanks to Susan for being the only one to join our "bird" party.  She shared this adorable mirror transformation. So cute!

But, since she was the only one to link up we have to assume everyone is super busy with summer.  We know we are!  So we have decided to take the month of August off and enjoy what little summer is left.  Wood you like to craft? will begin again in September.

Also, in the spirit of keeping things simple, we have decided to keep the whole WYLTC event right here on this blog.  Hopefully that will eliminate any confusion.

So, I (Krystal from Sassy Sanctuary) will host Septembers project and we are making shelves!  I have seen tons of fun shelf inspiration around blogland and I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.  Anything goes, you can build a shelf, finish a craft store shelf, or even re-purpose an old shelf.  So start scouting for inspiration!

Here is the shelf I made.

I have been loving all the mason jar shelves I have seen around and wanted to try my hand at one.   I also needed some bathroom storage so I combined the two ideas.  Love it!  The tutorial will be here September 5th.

See ya then!

July's Bird House Project

The tutorial for this month's project will be over at .....

Come say hello and grab the pattern to make your own adorable little bird house.  Over the next few days you will see a few different versions of bird houses made by the WYLTC crafty women I have the privilege to craft around with!   See you there.
